Chevalier R Berry

Chevalier Robernardo Berry (Poochie) was born on August 12, 1963, in Anderson, South Carolina and departed this life on November 19,2022. He was preceded in death by Luther Berry (Father), Clara Bell Skelton, Larry Skelton, Luther Skelton, Zenobia Wilson and Will Weaver. 

Chevalier graduated from T.L. Hanna High School. He attended South Carolina State University. He obtained an associate degree from Forrest Junior College in Business Administration and another from Tri County Technical College in Auto Cad Drafting.

Chevalier enjoyed shopping, traveling, and cooking for his friends and family. He was a devoted father and grandfather. He attended Thompson Centennial United Methodist Church in Anderson, South Carolina.

He is survived by his loving mother, Annette J. Jenkins, daughter, Theressa (Pooh Pooh) Henderson (Miguel) Belton, South Carolina, granddaughter Mia Lopez-Henderson, sisters, Patrice (Patty) Scott (Shon) Charlotte, NC, Sauncha Timpson (Shae) Charlotte, NC, nephews, Deon Scott (Octavia and Dakota) Marietta, GA, Drake Scott (Crystal, Omari and Jordan). Oakwood, GA, Cousin Demazio Skelton (Lashanda, Khalil, and Chloe) Douglasville, GA, Sanaa (Karson) and Sydnee Wilson Anderson, SC Jan Jackson, New Jersey, Tony Smith, Tennessee, the Egemonye Family, the Nix Children and a host of relatives and friends.

Public viewing Sunday November 27,2022, 1:00 PM until 4:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home

Services will be held at 1:00 PM Monday November 28, 2022, at Thompson Centennial United Methodist Church.  

Burial at New Silver Brook Cemetery 440 East Shockley Ferry Road Anderson, SC 29624.
