Stanley (Half Pint) Greenlee

Stanley Vinard Greenlee, affectionately known as "Half-Pint" was born on May 17, 1961 to the late Joe Nathan and Ruby Mae Greenlee.  He departed this life Sunday, November 7, 2021 in his home with family.

Half-Pint graduated from Pendleton High School, where he played football in 1979.  He served in the Army National Guard for 17 years (1979-1996) Headquarters HHB Artillery Unit 263 ADA.  He was also a concrete finisher for 30+years.  He was also employed by Bosch until his health began to decline. 

Half-Pint was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church where he served on the usher board.

Half-Pint leaves to cherish fond memories, his wife of 38 years, Cheryl "Peanut" Greenlee and five children:  Yolanda "Toya" Bowman Hunter (Keith) Anderson,SC, Keri "KK" Williams-Lee (Richard) Easley, SC, LaSondra Carson of St. Louis Missouri, Destiny :DJ" Rafay of Liberty, SC, and Stanton Greenlee of the home.  One daughter-in-law Natasha Greenlee (Pendleton, SC) and one granddaughter reared in the home, Jakeria Webb-Greenlee.  Also, eleven grandchildren:  Shai' Evony Bennett, Malachi and Kamiyah Bowman, Quintieon and Kuamaine Greenlee, Ashleigh Richardson, Nickoli Williams Jakhori Thacker, Aiden and Khaiden Robinson and Omari Cannon,  One great granddaughter, Kehlani Bennett and two godsons Xavier Williams and Zayne Walker.

Half-Pint also leaves to mourn six siblings:  Johnny Ray(Deb) Greenlee of Anderson, SC, Janet and Joe Babe "Baby" Greenlee of Pendleton, SC, Betsy Anderson of Pendleton, SC, Renea Willingham (Nate) Anderson, SC, Lamont Greenlee (Chelita)  of Anderson, SC,  Four sister-in-laws:  Gloria Williams, Marsha Greenlee, Eleanor Carson, and Sandra Williams.  Nine brother-in-laws:  Leon Heard, Charles Norris, Cedric, Devon and Reginald Ellis, Jamal and Tyrone Hodges,  Anthony and Zachary Johnson.  One aunt, Patricia Hayes and a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Half-Pint was preceded in death by his son, PFC Satieon "Tee" Greenlee, son-in-law,, Derrick "Butler" Bowman, brothers:  Roosevelt and Windell Greenlee sister-in-law, Valerie Ellis, Father-in-law Willie Johnson, and niece Nicole Greenlee.

Public Viewing will be Friday, November 12, 2021 from 1-6 PM

Services will be 1:00 PM, Saturday, November, 13, 2021 at  Piney Grove Baptist Church in Sandy Springs, S. C.
