Ms. Eunice McDuffie, 75. of Iva, South Carolina was born May 22, 1944. She departed from this world on December 12, 2019 where she went overboard to her hiding place from her favorite song I've got a hiding place. She graduated from New Deal High School in 1963. She worked at Jackson mill in Iva until the plant closed and retried from Mohawk Industries. she was a faithful member of Brown-oh A.M.E. for many years where she served on the Trustee Board, choir and was the Sunday School Superintendent and teacher.
Eunice was preceded in death by her parents, Mr.& Mrs. Archie McDuffie Sr.(Lela), her brother Joseph McDuffie and her sister Sallie Williams.
Eunice Leaves behind to remember her, a loving daughter Amanda McDuffie (and all her inherited daughters), two brothers Walter McDuffie Sr. of Massachusetts, Archie McDuffie Jr. of Starr, South Carolina and a host nieces(a special thank you to Sara Ann Mars), nephews, cousins and friends who loved her dearly.
The funeral service will be held at 1:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 21, 2019 at Brown-Oh A.M.E. Church in Calhoun Falls.
The family is at home of her daughter Amanda McDuffie, 208 Whitewater Lane, Anderson, South Carolina.
