Mrs. Carrie Mae Morrison Johnson, 74, was born on December 13, 1946 in Hart County Georgia. She was the daughter if the late Deacon John O.
Morrison and Sister Rosa Lee Cade Morrison. She departed this earthly home on Wednesday July 21, 2021. She was married to James A. Johnson for
55 years.
She accepted Jesus Christ as her Lord and Savior at an early age. She joined the Cedar Springs Church at an early age where she was an active member of the choir. She later joined her husband at Mount Olive Baptist Church, Anderson, South Carolina. She served as a Youth Sunday School teacher and a member of the Mt. Olive Baptist Church Senior Choir. She loved her family, friends, singing and flowers. She was employed for 25 years
at Singer/Ryobi Company. She was also employed for 5 years at AnMed Health. She was a 1985 graduate of McDuffie High School.
She leaves to cherish her fond memories, her husband James A. Johnson and three children Jerry, Shelia and Carmelia all of Anderson, South Carolina;
two grandsons, J.R. and C.J. and one great grandson, Semaj Morrison.
She was preceded in death by nine brothers and two sisters. She is survived by three brothers, one sister, and three sisters-in-law and a host of relatives and friends. she will be greatly missed by all who knew and loved her.
Graveside Service will be be on Saturday, July 24, 2021, at 12 noon at Anderson Memorial Garden.
There will be no public viewing.
