Georgia Hunter Obituary

Georgia Linton Hunter departed this life early morning hours on Friday, November 23, 2018 in Atlanta, GA.

She was the daughter of the late Sara and Lawrence Blackwell.

Georgia was married to James "Pete" Hunter, who preceded her in death.

She leaves to cherish her memories one daughter Zadie Linton Jenkins (Dwight), three brothers Lawrence Blackwell Jr.(Mary), William Herman Blackwell both of Anderson and Willie H. Blackwell (Samantha) of Atlanta, GA.

Five sisters Brenda Jo Harris(Ronnie), Shirley Ann Blackwell both of Anderson, Mamie Inez Ballard (Thomas) Gary Blackwell,Audrey Bradwell (Brad)and Wanda Jean Blackwell all of Atlanta, GA. One grandson Nathaniel Jenkins, and one great-grand daughter, Jai'lia Jenkins.

Services will be Saturday, December 1, 2018 at 12 Noon at Mt. Carmel AME Church on 611 Cleveland Ave. in Anderson, SC.

Burial Anderson Memorial Garden.
