Lucy Means Obituary

On April 21,2018 at her home, Lucy Earl Pringle Means experienced life's final transition and ascended into heaven to receive her eternal reward. 

She was born on June 5, 1928 in Anderson, South Carolina to the late John and Mattie Harkness Pringle.  She graduated from Reed Street High School and Allen University.  She taught for 33 years in Anderson School District Five.

She was preceded in death by a brother Johnny Marshall Pringle, sisters Bertha Pringle, and Addie Mae Chamblee.

She leaves to cherish her memory a devoted daughter, Judy Means of the home, a loving son Oscar (Chip) Means III, (Lisa) of Fayetteville, North Carolina, a grandson Oscar (Boo) Means IV of Houston, Texas, a great granddaughter Olivia, and dear nieces, nephews, and long faithful friends.

Services will be 1:00 PM, Thursday, April 26, 2018 at Bethel AME Church,  Interment Westview Cemetery.

NO PUBLIC VIEWING.

The family is at the home.
