Sandra Virginia (Freeman) Johnson

Sandra Virginia Johnson, 77, departed this life at Prisma Medical Center in Greenville, SC. She was born in 1945 to the late Mozelle and Codene Freeman. Sandra, affectionately known as Ms. Sandra, graduated from Westside High School in 1965. Ms. Sandra further matriculated at Anderson College School of Cosmetology. For over 45 years, she thrived as a successful minority business owner as the owner of Sandra's House of Beauty.

Ms. Sandra was baptized at an early age and was a lifelong member of Rock Hill Baptist Church in Anderson, South Carolina. Her passion was caring for others. She possessed a servant's heart which was demonstrated through acts of selfless service through caring for and ministering to others. She enjoyed her daily reading of God's word. Ms. Sandra's life included daily ministering to others and sharing the joy of her salvation.

Ms. Sandra leaves to cherish her loving memory, Stepmother, Betty Freeman, her children: John Thompson of the home, Cathy Thompson, of Belton, SC, Harriett Hunt of Anderson, SC and Greg (Melissa) Thompson of Starr Iva, SC.  In addition to her children, brothers: William (Bobbie Jean) Freeman of Princeton, New Jersey and Don Jordan of Albuquerque, New Mexico, Nine grandchildren and ten great grandchildren, as well as a host of nieces, nephews, and other relatives and friends.

Family will receive friends Wednesday and Thursday August 31st and September 1st at 208 Rhoe Circle Anderson, SC 29621.

Visitation Wednesday August 31, 2022, 2:00 PM until 6:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home 

Funeral Service Thursday September 1, 2022, 1:00 PM at Johnson Funeral Home

Interment at New Silver Brook Cemetery immediately after the funeral.
